Gameplay involves the player taking control of a conductor, who must use his powers to recruit various performers for a concert to save the town's concert hall, by tapping the controller buttons with varying degrees of strength to mimic the intensity of the conduction: light taps for softer notes, and hard presses to increase the playing power of the orchestra. All of the songs in the game are synthesized versions of well-known classical songs, such as \"Swan Lake\", \"Hungarian Dance No. 5 & 6\", and \"Night on Bald Mountain\".
Two sequels exist in Japan, one of which is a Christmas version.
