The main selling point of Donkey Konga 2 is over 30 new songs to play with the Bongos. Other features include slightly improved graphics, the inclusion of some classic Donkey Kong characters and a variety of new minigames.
One point that may have led to some backlash against the sequel was the initial song list. Blu Cantrell's \"Hit Em Up Style\" was a questionable inclusion to many, and the title \"Wish You Were Here\" led many to believe Pink Floyd had a song in the game. However, the song was actually the Incubus song \"I Wish You Were Here\" mis-titled. No artists were named in the song list.
Playable Characters
Donkey Kong;
Diddy Kong;
Dixie Kong (new) (returning from Donkey Kong Land III);
Trivia
This is the first Donkey Kong title to be rated T for Teen (for Mild Lyrics).;
